Legends On The Niagara Golf Club, Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Chris Garner, ParaGolf Canada Niagara Region Program Development Manager, hosted a Niagara Paragolf Canada Day at Legends On The Niagara Golf Club in Niagara Falls.

Fifteen Adaptive Athletes with limb differences, neurological, and intellectual classifications ranging in age from 5 years old to 60 years old came together for the sheer love of the game.

We had golfers from Sudbury, Fergus, Toronto, and the Niagara region. Some who were experiencing the game of golf for the first time to those more experienced players trying to work through life-changing health experiences, like the loss of a limb, and recently acquired stroke.

The day consisted of one hour on the driving range courtesy of Niagara Parks followed by nine holes thanks to the PBO group.

Paragolf Canada would like to thank Niagara Falls, Mayor, Jim Diodati, MPP Wayne Gates, Niagara City Counselor, Tony Baldinelli, Tim Geddes, Bryn Jones, the “Chippers” Special OlympicsGolfers, ParaGolf Canada Program Development Managers Derrek Legue, and Jason Lucci, the staff at legends of Niagara, including Curtis Labelle and of course, Chris Garner for making this incredible day happen!
